Who Are We
Springfield Lakes Netball Club (SLNC) is a family friendly club for all ages. We are a volunteer run, not for profit association based on Sportstar Drive, Springfield Lakes. SLNC are a long established community club, with our roots starting in Camira over 20 years ago. We have teams for ages 6 in our Netta competition, through to our Opens Teams, all playing in the Western Districts Netball Association.
All Coaches in our SLNC cohort begin or continue their journey with a minimum of achieving their Foundational Coaching accreditation through Netball Qld. SLNC also has a wonderful Junior Coaching program, skilling and mentoring younger players to eventually take on their own team.
We also pride ourselves on our dedicated junior Umpiring program to build up confidence & skills in young umpires and encourage them to work through the Umpiring pathways to achieve national accreditations.

Where do we Train
In 2020 we moved our club training to the brand new Springfield Central Sports Complex at Sportstar Drive, Springfield Lakes. Our teams from Netta (6-10 years) and competition teams train on a Tuesday evening from 5pm. More detailed information will come as teams are put together and coaches are allocated.
Where we Play
We play our competition games on Saturdays at Western Districts Netball Association located at Graceville. Games for juniors start at 8am and the last round of the day is played at 3.10pm. Your team will be allocated a division and a time by WDNA.
What's the Cost?
SLNC prides ourselves in being one of the most affordable clubs at WDNA. Cost for the 2025 Saturday Day Season will be $385/player (a small increase from last year due to an increase in fees by Netball Queensland). A small discount for other members of the same family is given.
In 2024, we introduced our new Uniform Provider, Blue Dog Sports- a local business based in Laidley, supplying our iconic Purple dresses, visors, bike pants, plus the addition of Supporters Shirts, Bucket Hats and SLNC Backpacks.
