Who Are We

Springfield Lakes Netball Club is a family friendly club for all ages.  SLNC have been around for quite a while now with out roots starting in Camira over 20 years ago.  We have teams for ages 7 to adult, competition, social, and modified games for the young girls just starting out.  We encourage all our coaches to obtain coaching accreditation through Netball Qld and train and encourage our young and young at heart umpires to gain confidence and national accreditation.

Where do we Train

Starting 2020 we moved our club training to the new Sporting Complex at Sportstar Drive, Springfield Central.  Our teams from Netta (7-10 years) and competition teams will train on a Tuesday evening from 5pm.  More detailed information will come as teams are put together and coaches are allocated.  Social teams will be encouraged to train but will not be allocated a coach.  They may come and join in with a team on Tuesday evening if both coach and competition teams are willing and able.

Where we Play

We play our competition games on Saturdays at Western Districts Netball Association located at Graceville.  Games for juniors start at 8am and the last round of the day is played at 3.10pm.  Your team will be allocated a division and a time by WDNA.

A social competition run by WDNA is held on Monday nights at Graceville for players that are 14 years in 2023 and older.  All umpires are provided and games are of a good quality. We aim to put teams into this competition and it will start on 6th February, 2023.  More information will be coming soon.  A guide for costing - Team registration for each season is $400 (for an 8 week season).     Please contact us if you are interested in playing in the social comp.

Whats the Cost?

SLNC prides ourselves in being one of the most affordable clubs at WDNA.  Cost for the 2023 Saturday Day Season will be $360/player (a small increase from last year due to an increase in fees by Netball Queensland).  A discount for other members of the same family is given.  The price for the second, & subsequent children, is $335.  Cost for uniforms will be approx. $50 for SLNC dress (compulsory), $35 for SLNC shorts (compulsory), $10 for socks and $15 for visor.  Hoodies & drink bottles are also available, and are able to be personalised with the player's name for a small additional cost.
